Well, it is that time of year again, and I am gearing up to make another hop order.

Presently, I have no idea what pricing is going to be this year. While I am optimistic for at least maintaining the pricing that I offered last year, the realistic side of me knows that I may not be able to do that. On the surface, it looks as though I'll still be able to come in under the prices that the homebrew retailers are offering, so keep that in mind.

The harvest is under way at this time, so I do not have an idea of what will be available.

Also, I am looking to get those same silver mylar bags this year, like the ones you get hops in forom the hombrew store.

If you are interested, please respond to this thread with the hop varities that you want so I know what to negotiate for--Desiried quantities will come later.

If you are new to this board, this is my third year to do this, and I have heard no complaints!

No complaints here. Still using up the hops I got last year though. They came vac packed and labeled at a great price.

Great to hear that you are doing this again! I am always game for any of the Noble Hops, Cascade, Tet, Chinook or whatever everyone decides on.

Willamette, Noble, the C's (Cascade centennial, chinook, columbus)

What were last year's prices, I'm new to this so I'm just wondering...but would like to stock up for the year

Tettnanger, noble's, cascade!

No complaints here. I still have some Tet from last year, but that's about to be used up. Very high quality stuff.

Last years prices came out to $2.00/oz. I'll try to shoot for this again, but I just don't think it is going to happen, but the order will probably be a little ways off....the harvest is not even over yet.

How long can those be stored and still be good for brewing?

In my opinion, hops that are sealed well and freezer kept should be used in a year. I am looking for a god source of vacuum bags, b/c they are friggin pricey from the store....

I may need to curtail brewing for a few months (like 6), but would be interested in Saaz and Styrian Goldings...if you can get them.
