Just searching around the web, I stopped on Beertown's Zymurgy site. It looks like the July/Aug issues has clone recipes for Russian River's Pliny the Elder Imperial IPA and Stone's Ruiniation IPA. I subscribe to BYO, and I believe I have both of these in old issues.
Does anyone know if there are differences in the clone recipes? I imagine its difficult to scale down commercial recipes, so it wouldn't be surprising to me. I would be interested in different takes on the malt bill and hop schedule.

Post the Pliny recipe, I have one somewhere that I got form Vinny after I sent him an email.

This is the standard Pliny homebrew recipe that regularly gets published:

I'm not at home right now, so I can't verify my issue of Zymurgy, but from what I recall when I read it a few weeks ago, it was the same recipe.

That's pretty much whats in BYO. Same exact hop schedule, and only minor differences in the gain bill, possibly due to BYO's assumption of 65% efficiency. Their grain bill is:
12.2 lbs. Pale North American 2-row
1 lbs. Dextrose (aka corn sugar)
0.86 lb. Carapils (aka dextrin)
0.28 lb. Crystal 45L

I just checked my emails, and what I have from Vinny are directions for the creation of Pliny the younger....
