Found some 10.8 Gallon Barrel type kegs pretty cheap, about 15$ each. Can this kind be used for Brew Kettles? Thus far all I have seen used are the newer type.

Looks like it should be fine as long as they are stainless steel. They look pretty sturdy. Say, how much is shipping? I might be interested in one or two of those...

That is SABCO and they are a VERY reputable company to buy from. I have used their products for years and have never had a complaint. I know several guys using their yeast brink to prop up with who like them as well.

My buddy has one of their brewmagic systems that we have cranked out some serious beer on. It is a great piece of equipment if you have the money for it.
