We had a fried turkey and a smoked turkey both were excellent. My brother fried the turkey but he kept his fryer way away from his house. Fried turkeys are great!

i though about frying one this year but it went in the oven instead, my thought was to do it in the back yard....

well, since i was at my fiancee's and my turkey fryer [read: brew pot] was in denver i didn't fry the turkey (this just in, the turkey rocked), but i did fry a chicken before my travels and will fry my christmas goose for those holidays! fried fowl rocks :)

Frying a turkey in your brewpot would be a bad mistake. I bet you would ahve turkey flavored beer for quite some time.
