The "New" Steelback... thoughts anyone?

I havent tried the "new" Steelback. Remembering the old one, there were only a few of the 9 beer line up that I liked. Now, 5 have survived a new ownership/management, and so... has anyone out there tired it? Better, worse, the same?

Hi Catt;

Based on my experience with the last offerings and all the financial and legal problems that D'angelo got himself into, I will not venture a try of the new beers unless they are offered to me for free.

I will probably try them eventually. I did think there Tiverton Honey Beer was alright. I won't expect much though.

I wasn't a fan of the steelback beers that I tried, so I doubt I'll venture out to try any more.

I didn't hear about the financial woes of D'angelo but I'm not suprised with all the money he spent on commercials and advertising.

I read an article on him a while back and he was saying that the advertising ideas are all his - maybe he could have benifited from someone helping him establish his brand instead of a bunch of random ideas. However I absolutely loved his Cheeta commercial with Ben Johnson!

The Cheeta commercials were the highlight of being able to view the TSN HD feed from Ontario during the CFL season last year.
