A friend and I went 50/50 on a kit from Midwest called Holiday Brew. The SG was 1.062 it has been in the primary for 9 days and I checked the gravity and it is at 1.024. I am hoping to get to at least 1.016 the 74% attenuation.
1. The basement temp has been around 60 F
2. The primary had thick krausen
so I swilled the primary and moved it upstair where it is about 70F and it has started bubbling again about 1 per 45 sec or so.

If I move this to a secondary on Thursday should I have it in their at least "how long?"
I want to bottled it for my friend because he wants to give it as a xmas gift and I need time for the carbonation.
Will it be ok if I bottle by Tuesday of next week?

I find that most of my beers carbonate in 2 weeks and sometimes even quicker. So I say you have alittle more time to let sit in secondary if you want. It will help the nbeer to setlle more of the yeast out and be more clear.

I like to let mine go 2 weeks minimum in the secondary.
