As much as that sounds all well and good to we craft beer lovers, that would sure put a lotta folks out of work.
Take a look at the link I posted in the first thread on this subject, some food for thought.

Okay, maybe I spoke rashly. How about retooling, taking the adjuncts out of their beers and brewing some good stuff? Keep everyone working and turn out a good product.

Yeah, that'd really please us all... if we didn't already know what InBev has been doing to the likes of Spaten and even Stella Artois (many old timers lament over the beer that it used to be).
But yeah, at least the unemployment rate would remain stable!

I wondered if Optimator tasted different recently. Waitress told me that it was really smooth beer but I have had smoother and I remember it well before I really started to taste beer that it was smooth.

I think Optimator is one of the few in the brand that they're still decoction mashing. I had a bottle and thought it had dwindled, but the bottle was probably old -- a local has the draft and it's pretty nice.
Don't get me started on the Spaten Premium Helles...

Warren Buffett to back InBev's proposed A-B takeover (http://www.mlive.com/business/ambizdaily/bizjournals/index.ssf?/base/abd-4/1213771206283920.xml)
So Warren Buffett is a 5% shareholder and wants the deal to happen. Barclays owns even more but not sure what their stance is. I wonder how much clout they'd have in pressuring A-B to do the deal?
