Has anyone built one of these? I'm thinking about picking up a weedeater, or possibly a rc car motor to build a blender for tailgating.
Any ideas?

The cynic in me challenges you to show me what this post has to do with beer... but the curiosity in me takes over and just wants to see a finished product at some point. ;)

Any ideas?A local contractor's supply should have gas-powered concrete mixers. One of those, even if it's only for mixing a cubic yard or so, should do...if you're hardcore.

Well, with the rising cost of gasoline, why not cut off the dependency of foreign oil and go with this? (http://www.metservice.com/default/staticimages/features/mayflood/eggBeater_clip_image002.gif)
Altho, why does one *need* a blender while tailgating, anyway? Isn't this tool (http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/d/da/Bottle_Opener.jpg/800px-Bottle_Opener.jpg) the only required one?

I've found some stuff online in the mean time. I think I'm going to pick up a weed eater off of craigslist for 10 bucks and scrap it for the motor. I think getting some kind of spindle adapter welded up is the only rough spot.
I was tailgating for the race yesterday and just thought how badass it would be to have a blender. It has nothing to do with beer, except that I was drinking a lot of it when I came up with the idea.
edit: Here's a y/t clip of what I was thinking about.
