The owners of The Latonia theater and ballroom in Oil City, PA have asked me to see if there is area-wide interest for an Octoberfest craft beer and wine tasteing event to be held in September. I suggested they retain at least 10 vendors and charge a gate of about $20. I'm thinking along the lines of a Penn Fest style event with 3, three hour sessions and authentic German cuisine. Weather is not a factor as the Latonia theater can hold hundreds of people indoors in it's huge ballroom that has one of the largest working chandeliers in the country. Seeing it lit up is worth the price of admission alone! Any comments or suggestions are most welcome.
