I started a batch of brew Saturday evening and it went great til today...it has almost stopped fermenting in the primary.

The recipe called for 6.6 pounds of light LME Coopers and 2 pounds of rice syrup solids...hops and Coopers Dry Ale yeast.

I need ya'll's help, should I try to kick the yeast in the butt by stiring or wait awhile...the temp has been a constant 75 deg.

This is a first for me and this problem.

are you using a carboy, or a plastic bucket? If you're using a bucket, it's likely that it's not sealed completely, so co2 is escaping around the edges instead of through the airlock. No big deal... best way to check, take a gravity reading, it you're 3/4 the way to your target FG, you can rack to a secondary. If you're not using a secondary, once your gravity reading has stayed constant for 3 days, you can safely bottle....

it is possible you've finished fermenting, but use that hydrometer to make sure...

It's quite possible that you have finished fermenting. Depending on the temp, Coopers dry yeast works REAL fast. Check the hydrometer, but you should be able to move to secondary.

It's probably a combination of leakage past the lid and getting close to being done with the primary.
I have an Amber Ale that I did the same evening and it's down to a bubble every 2 to 3 seconds (from a frenzy yesterday)
The plastic buckets seem to leak a bit more when the pressure drops after the initial fermentation.
Give it a full week and don't sweat it. Transfer it this coming weekend and you'll be just fine.

Coopers Dry Ale yeast at 75? This boy is 99.9% pure in thinkin' that that thar bear is a done ferment-a-fying! Seriously at that temp, even if it is the high end of its temp range you are almost definatly done. My first few batches were sitting at the top of the fermentation range for the entire fermentation and they finished in 3-4 days with primary.

I appreciate all of the help. The F.G. was close and I do think I had a little leakage around the lid. Next batch is gonna be totally glass.

This is the first batch that went this quick for me. I think I wiil "Relax and have a Homebrew" and wait till the weekend to rack to 2ndary like Paul suggests.

Happy Thanksgiving! and Cheers to all of you.

The fastest batch I have ever done finished in under 3 days, fallen kreusen, low gravity, everything....It was pretty impressive! I still waited until the weekend to rack it!
