wow! ok, now i know what all the fuss is about! good stuff, and i'm not usually a big fan of brown ales, but this one is exceptional. now i just gotta find a place in denver (that is close to home) that sells it!

nice hoppiness and malt flavors, good aroma...goes down nice and easy. very excellent beer.

i totally agree, i have family in montana and they brought me a mixed 6 pack from differnt brewerys out there and two of the beers really stood out. one was the moose drool, like you im not a huge fan of brown ales, but im a huge fan of moose drool. nice malty balance to it , i can't say enough.
the other was the black widow stout, also impressive. can't remember the name of the brewery though.

My wife and I both really enjoyed it. She likes it so much I had to promise her most of the bottles I got in the trade with davesarman.

I am still just waiting to try the beer itself, in whatever bottle I can get it in!

I've had it from the aluminum bottle, glass bottle and tap. I liked the glass bottle much better. Tap was good and the aluminum bottle, altho convienient lends a slight metalic taste...how many of you seriously think that a person hiking will bring their own pint glass? But that is just my opinion.

We just got this on tap at work. It's one of my favorites, so I'm now spending a little extra time at work every night. =)

Moose Drool was about the only brew from Big Sky I liked (on tap & bottled. beer in cans taste metallic), and about the only brown ale I liked before having it was Newcastle. I thought I'd like their Powderhound, but it didn't do anything for me.
