This is my second batch, a honey wheat, used safale us 05 dry yeast
this just kinda looks more like mold to me than fermentation based on what i saw on my previous batch (a pale ale)
this is 3 days after racking to the secondary, it was in the primary for 7

Technically it could be both, mould often referring to fungus, and yeast being a type of fungus.
I think it's a small amount krausen forming. If you look at it you can see bubbles, which wouldn't be happening if it were mould floating on the top. Plus it doesn't look fuzzy, which is a good clue for fungus.

Looks like yeast nucleation to me.
No fuzz, no green spots and no ropey stuff going down into your beer....
It's just the yeast gathering at the top of your fermenter and gathering into a nucleolus (more than likely around a hop particle) and getting ready to go dormant.

Yup, looks like yeast, but if it is not, don't dump it, give it a try first

cynical. it sure looks like you got a case of atheltes foot or some other toe fungus working in your beer seeing as all those shoes are around it. Also yeast critters are very sensative and easily offended and placing them so close to a non beer like 'Corona' maybe got them all nervous and agitated.
Just kidding, it looks fine and what you see is a normal part of the fermentation process.

Thanks guys,
and actually its not corona, its a box filled with my last home brew bottles that are conditioning... and yeah my closet is the only place i can put it really out of direct light and that will stay semi temp controlled.

I know the feeling, I keep mine in the home gym for the same reasons.
I consider it inspiration.

Different yeast strains make different formations on the top of your wort/beer. That is definitely yeast though.
