This cheese at Igourmet.com looks interesting:

Hereford Hop - Select Cut
This unique cheese is made in Herefordshire by Charles Martell of Laurel Farm, Gloucester. Hereford Hop's uniqueness derives from the fact that it is rubbed with ground, toasted hops, according to a medieval tradition. These are the same dried flowers used to lend the bitter flavor to beers and ales. The cheese itself is tender and buttery. The hops add a bitter aroma and flavor that is quite complementary. The rind is edible, although some prefer to discard it. The natural accompaniment for this cheese is, of course, a good English beer or ale. Suitable for Vegetarians.

Hmm, there's a small line of brewpub/steak joints around the midwest called Hereford & Hops... wonder if there will be a clash?

I've been to H & H in Escanaba. I posted the same thing on DC-Beer and one response was that Trader Joes carries this cheese under their own name. Two of the folks from DC - Beer have tasted and said it was good. I'll look for it. I'm betting Whole Foods will have it. Or maybe Wegmans. Wort, have you seen it in your store?

It sounds dreamy, Chaz. Next time my mom and uncle drag me up to Trader Joe's I'll look for it there.
