Any particularly good Valentine's Day and Beer events around? I got an E-mail from GB that they're tying in their tasting menu to the day. I was going to call the Reef to see if that had anything special on. Anything else folks are aware of?

Well, I WAS going to mention the cool thing going on at New Belgium in Ft. C, CO, but since this is in the MID-ATLANTIC forum... ;)

Unless you're providing the plane tickets that's not doing me much good.

Yeah, it is sorter difficult to tell which forum you're in any more when you sneak in from "Today's Posts."

Description: Join us this Thursday for a very special tasting of some fantastic beers, including Southern Tier Brewery Gemini Imperial IPA ($6.49), Southern Tier Brewery Imperial Choklat Stout ($7.99), Unibroue Quelque Chose Ale ($10.99), Schneider and Sohn Brewery Aventinus ($3.99), and The Brewer's Art Green Peppercorn Tripel ($11.99). Cool place just to stop by on any day if you happen to live or work downtown. They carry stuff I have not seen anywhere else in this area including Three Floyds (had some Monday at least) and Vertical Epics. Some interesting Belgians too. And some great single malts...
