I was at Lowes the other day and found these nylon paint strainers fitted for 5 gallon buckets (2 for $2.74). I thought I'd try to use one when transferring from brew pot to primary. They fit nicely over the edge of the bucket and they work fantastic. If this is a mistake to use, let me know.

That's what I use, I put mine in some sanitation before I use it no problems yet. catches all the cold break and any other stuff you toss into the worts

As long as the weave is coarse enough- -I had wort completely seal a fine-weave sparge bag and wound up with a heavy, drippy bag of hot beer--and the bag is strong enough. But with the right equipment, this is definitely the quickest/cleanest way to sparge.

I do the strainer thing, too. Very useful item for catching trub.
