It taste like beer

I actually made beer!!! I tested a few last night and they were aactually kinda good. Not bad for my first batch. Since I just used LME and DME and didn't add any hops I could taste that there was no bitters. But the beer wasn't bad. I already got my second kit in the mail It is a smooth nut brown ale. Can't wait to try it.

Congrats, I hope you also ordered the third batch now that you know you can do it.
Next time you order get a kit that includes hops instead of using pre-hopped kits. You'll really be happy with the results.

You can add a bit of hops to the pre-hopped kits to bring out more flavor. Since youre in Wichita, try The Home Brewery in Ozark MO, they have some good kits a friend of mine loves their Brewers Red Ale kit
