Yeppers! Bought a couple of sixers toward the end of summer! Pretty good brew, nothing to write home about, but all in all enjoyable!

It is one of my wife's favorite beers.

I've had it in the past, and it is quite good. You can find better beers, but there is nothing wrong with this one. I have an affinity for Scottish beers, as my wife spent a semester there in college and I spent 3 weeks there on vacation a couple years ago.

I was making a scottish ale this weekend. My wife and I were at Town Hall in Minneapolis a while back and both liked the scottish. I wanted to get some to try the style again. It was good, had sort of a smoky flavor that I really enjoyed and as it got to room temp, it got even better, really mellow.

Did you get a growler of their Scottish Ale to take home with you? I"ve been there several times, and I think that's my favorite regular beer they make. I was at a special beer release party a month or so back and won through a drawing one of only 13 growlers of a whiskey barrel aged Imperial Porter and a Celebration type ale. Both are sitting in my fridge right now, waiting to be cracked open over the holiday season. I sealed the cap in wax to make sure they stay fresh. Town Hall is without a doubt the best brewpub in the Twin Cities!
