This beer was one of my Christmas gifts. It is from their Imperial series of beers and is actually a blend of two of their brews. Hence the name Gemini, the twins.
The bottle cap is sealed with either a thick wax or plastic to look like melted wax. I can't decide which and am hesitant to use flame to find out. It did make it hard to open the bottle.
The beers blended are their Hoppe and Unearthly IPA. The Unearthly is an Imperila IPA. No description of Hoppe is available on the website.It has a strong hop nose. It pours a nice gold color. I drank out of a fluted glass as per the suggestion printed on the bottle. The suggestion even has a picture if a glass to guide you.
It is 10.5% ABV. A good malt body helps to balance the hops and alcohol. The sweetness of the malt shows through the hops just enough to make this a very tasty beer. Six different hops are used. The hop pfrofilweof this beer both taste and aroma are as subtle as a crushing body check in the corner. Well done though as I have said this is a nice beer.
