We just put up a post at Beer Culture about a new brewery opening in the Czech Republic. The main text is here:

but the overview is that the new Pivovar Kocour Varnsdorf is opening in 2008. This is a new microbrewery, not brewpub, and it will brew both bottom-fermenting and top-fermenting styles. (That's quite rare in the homeland of Pilsner brewing.) In addition, Kocour has several oak casks and plans to age a few of its beers in oak. (That's nearly unheard of here, other than U Medvídků and the stuff on the tour at Pilsner Urquell.)
