Well folks, it happened. I'm now a professional brewer.
That is overstating it a bit, I'm afraid. I'm the "assistant brewer". I'm not exactly designing the recipes, instead I'm doing the cleaning and sanitizing, bottling, transferring, etc. It's a part time job for now, but it is fun. I think piggy-backing my homebrewing needs onto their orders will be almost as good as getting a couple dollar an hour raise.
For now I'm not going to name my employer, but it is a brewpub/BOP in Northeast Ohio.

Good for you Mookow. Don't be afraid to name your employer. Maybe the next time I am in NE Ohio(it happens), I'll stop in for a pint.

I dont want to name it on the forum so that I can speak my mind freely and not have to deal with repercussions from my employer. But if you're coming into the Northeast Ohio area and want to meet me for a beer, I could point you in the right direction :D .

My buddy and I were having a beer last night, and he told me he was now really jealous of my jobs. I asked him why, and he told me "Anytime you are at work, you're allowed to drink. For free. Drinking. Free. At work. I hate you."
I had a chuckle about it, but I may need to start doing a little more running every week or something, because otherwise I'm going to be far too fat to play Gaelic football in the spring.
