I've done a search here and also checked at byo and it seems there are many ways to add coffee to beer.
Here's what I was thinking, brew some Starbucks breakfast blend but make it a little stronger in my 12 cup coffee pot. Add priming sugar to hot coffee to disolve add this to the bottling bucket and siphon stout to mixture then bottle.
Sound Good?

Sounds good. Just maybe start with a little less coffee. Sometimes the stuff can be overpowering, you'd be surprised how little it takes to be noticed in the final product.

i have found that it is important to cut back on my bittering hops just a little because you are going to get some bitterness from the coffee as well. you might want to think about it, but your method of adding coffee sounds ok.

Don't know about how to add the coffee, but can't you add something other than Starbucks'? I hate this chain - they came into this city and within 6 months they had opened 6 stores. Talk about making the world homogenous and boring.
Sorry that this reply is off topic but adding Starbucks coffee to your beer seems akin to drinking a Bud while brewing it!

I think I will sample it when I rack to secondary. Then think about how much coffee to add.
We have a coffee house here maybe I should go there an ask about a smooth low acid type coffee, might be worth it.

I actually brew with coffee quite often. I make an Irish Cream Java Stout at least once a month.
The best method I have found to add coffee, and I've tried just about everything, is to add 1/2 to 1 cup of ground coffee to a reusable nylon hop bag and add after your boil is complete. Allow to steep for 15 minutes before you cool your wort. Leaves a very nice coffee flavor, not over powering but subtle in the after taste.
hope this helps.
