picked up a couple of sixes of seasonal holiday ales....very tasty...and kicking my GFs ass at scrabble :) oh, and pressure testing my new kegs after cleaning.

i'd say the day/evening is going quite well.

Wow, that brought some memories for me ... I remember playing "Pictionary" with my sisters and their boyfriends, somehow during the holidays these games lead to arguments as everyone became more competitive ... they were actually quite amusing at times ... its making me smile and laugh right now as I type this .. but you know, every year we are back doing battle playin' these games .. ;)

b3s, this game in a pub ... oh lord .. that would have to be a hoot .... I can only imagine the laughter and the many brews consumer by such an event. I wonder if my pub would try some shite like this  .. I'm headed to my fav. pub tomorrow morning after church @ St. Pats.

it's a fun time...lots of laughter. the bar (definitely not a pub :( ) sponsors the event and for each round, gives the winning team a $10 gift certificate.

on another evening they do trivia. but that one has gotten lame over time.

Being the trivial person that I am, I enjoy Trivial Pursuit and I also like to watch Jeopardy sometimes on TV. Of course, A few brews also go well with a friendly Poker game. Notice I said friendly. Sometimes alcohol and card do not mix well. I have been in some games where it has caused severe arguments.
