Hello!

Noticed there was nothing here from Vancouver or surroundings so I decided to post up some info in case others needed it.

Im getting my Kegerator conversion stuff from an Ontario firm with an outlet in Surrey. I can pick it up myself without having to have it shipped.

The Ubrew place Im using is in Vancouver and Ive gone there for years.

Hope this helps anyone looking for info like I was.

I shall be visiting Vancouver (or to be precise, Hedley, but via Vancouver) again next April/May and I should be pleased to receive any updates of the beer situation (not home-brew - pubs and brands).

Last time I visited the Tin Whistle brewery in Penticton and managed to sample a few local bottled beers - plus several bottles from Unibroue's ever excellent range. I am looking forward to expanding my knowledge of Canadian beers.

Richard-

Hopefully you'll have a bit more time this trip and will be able to make more than a whistle stop in Seattle.

Wouldn't that be a "wet-your-whistle" stop?

I'm not sure of my itinerary as yet. If I come back by train from Seattle that's a possibility - although I'll need to overnight there as the bus from Vancouver only just connects with the train.
