I am a fan of oatmeal stout and saw this at the grocery store tonight. 4 pack of cans for $8. I didn't pick it up, but I was thinking about grabbing a 4 pack for saturday afternoon. Anybody got any opinions on this brew? I am probably gonna get some either way. It is a pretty good price for 4 pints.

Very tasty - second only to their Double Chocolate Stout. Because you enjoy Oatmeal Stouts, I'm sure you will this one, it's a great example of the style. Look for the bottles too, it's my opinion that the nitro in the cans tends to stunt the flavor some.

I have not yet tried this from the cans. I like the Chocolate from the Tap best and from the cans next. Youngs makes some mighty fine beers! Especially on cask. I just booked my flight for my May trip to London this afternoon. May 7th - 16th. My buddy is joining me because he not only likes good beer but he has tickets to a couple nights Eric Clapton shows at the Royal Albert Hall. He wanted to go over for the show and hell, Thats as good as an excuse for me to head over for some Real Ale as I need. I am also planning a trip in February. Probably 2/15-2/22. Anyone else want to go over for some pub hopping?

Well duh - I bet we all WANT to go pub hopping in London :p

I like Young's Oatmeal Stout - not quite as much as Sam Smith's but still very good. My favorite Young's beer is the SLA, though.

Young's Oatmeal Stout is one of my favorite all time beers. There is a local pub that has it on tap, and I can tell you that the can with the nitrous widget in it has no decernable taste or appearance difference. I keep at least 4 pints in the beverage fridge at all times. I am a big advocate of all of Young's brews, but to me this is far and away their best. A nice, dark ruby stout with a creamy texture.

If you are an Oatmeal Stout drinker, BB, then you should really enjoy this one.
