What books on home brewing can you recommend?
I started with Palmer's How To Brew, then
Papazian's Home Brewer's Companion and I'm reading Millers' Complete Handbook of Home Brewing now.
I've got an 8 hour bus ride coming up next week and I need something to read. What should I look at next?
Thanks!
brewmasters bible...i liked that one

Homebrew Favorites (Lutzen & Stevens) has been my go-to for recipes. And Papazian's New Complete Joy of Homebrewing, of course.

The New brewing lager beer by noonan is the definitive all grain book imo. It goes a little into the technical aspect of things which is nice.

Designing Great Beers by Ray Daniels
Along with Palmers How To Brew, it's my favorite. It talks about all the different styles of beers, how they were brewed historically and what ingredients go into them.
highly recomended!

Ok don't laugh but in addition to Papazian and the Brewmaster's Bible, I have "Homebrewing for Dummies" by Marty Nachel. Its actually very good and one of the easier reads out there. It is also the first book I would share with a new homebrewer because it would get them off to the quickest start.

Happy days are here again! This title is back in publication, and now includes info on Ales, as well as Lagers. MoreBeer (http://www.morebeer.com/detail.php3?pid=BK450) stocks it...
I'll put in a vote for Brewery Planner: A Guide to Opening and Running Your Own Small Brewery (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/0937381519/102-7809888-5336917), since it's good reading for those who want to move from a passionate hobby to the actual business.
