ok i just bought a danby chill n tap from best buy

Luckily i work there so i haggled my way into getting it for $189 since the appliance dept has like 10 of these they need to sell

I bought a keg of Blue Moon and everything was set up great - i believe my beer line to the tower is 3/16" from looking at other pics in this forum but i am really not sure and the length but it seems to be 3-4 feet WHICH I THINK IS THE PROBLEM - i am running the co2 at 12 psi - the keg is cooled to 37 degrees and has been stable for about 3 days

however as u can see in these pics i am getting huge amounts of foam - they tend to go completely away if i wait about a minute so its not awful but i am unable to fill my 22oz glasses to the brim and the beer gets warm before i am done

i am just really curious as to what i can do to combat this foam dilemma i am having and get my kegerator in full swing

Thanks in advanced for all help provided...again from my research on this forum it seems that it may be my beer tower line length but i could be wrong and want to make sure before i purchase anything

*EDIT* sorry those pics seem to be incredibly small - try clicking here for my album for bigger pics

There have been a lot of posts on here regarding the cool air circulation in the tower which may be causing some problems.

Do a search for "kegerator fan*" and you should come up with more information on the subject (make sure you add an asterisk at the end of the word fan, otherwise, the search engine will disregard it as it must be at least 4 characters).

Good luck.

if your beer line is less than 5', you'll need less pressure - ~9.5 for 4'. However, you'll have less carbonation in the beer. Beer line is cheap. Go with the 5' everyone else uses. That length is used because it balances the pressure needed (~12 psi) to keep beer properly carbonated at the right temp (~38 degrees F).
