Does anyone here cook with beer? I would like to see what kind of recipes there are that are good using beer. My mother in law makes a Cuban chicken & rice dish called Arroz con Pollo that uses a couple of beers. It is Awsome. I highly recommend it and I will post it here as soon as I can get hold of it. Meanwhile if you have any good one pleas pass them on.

My 15+ year old, ever-evolving, chili recipe has always called for a cup of good beer.

Ham and Beans over the campfire always call for a beer in the pot.

About a year ago I posted my mother-in-law's flemmish stew recipe. She also braises rabbit in beer. Iv'e also had a sort of sweedish meatballs made with McChouffe in Rochefort.
There is in fact a restaraunt here in Bruges that serves exclusivly beer based cuisine.

Reminds me of the "three bottle spaghetti sauce" we made at the fraternity when the cook was sick. One bottle of Gallo Hearty Burgundy for the sauce and one bottle each for the two of us that usually got stuck with KP.

I do a boneless pork loin in the slow cooker with onions, pepperoncis and a couple of bottles of good beer. Served on crunchy rolls with shredded mozarella.

no matter what I cook, the recipe usually calls for some beer. Whether the beer goes in the food or my mouth depends on the recipe
