Just opened a Guinness Draught a friend left in my frige from last Sunday. When I got to the bottom, there was a little plastic thing in it, sort of looks like magnetic stirrer used by chemists. What the hell is that about???
Thanks if you know AND respond!

The "widget" is actually a plastic device which sits at the bottom of the can. When the can is opened, the widget releases a mixture of beer and nitrogen that creates a surge of bubbles. When you pour it into a glass these bubbles eventually settle to form the famous tight white head creating the perfect pint experience from the pub right at home.
i pulled it off their website for ya!
cheers!
;)
details on the widget patent can be read at the guinness beer faq (http://www.ivo.se/guinness/patent.html)

Kevin, Hopjack13, consider yourselves warned....you have just been added to the "Mans" list. Notice the strange buzzing noise on your phone, the dark automobile parked near your house? Coincidence? I think not!
heh...the list reminds me of psycho in stripes :D

I heard they switched from cars to black helicopters that run in "whisper" mode, but if you wear a tinfoil hat you can block out the signals that they use to track your drinking habits.
