Have anyone bought this magazine? I bought one back in July. I need to get a couple of issues before I decide if it is a good source of beer world.

If you're looking for beer news, stick to the internet as no mag is that "cutting edge". If you want an all-around men's mag with a beery concept, it's not bad.

But if enough US beer enthusiasts were to join then I am sure that a US edition would soon be forthcoming.

I've been subscribed to draft from the beginning. Some of the articles don't appeal to me all that much, but I like their beer reviews, they have about a dozen pages or so in every issue of different beers in 3-4 different catagories. They also have an interview with a beer drinking celebrity in every issue, as well as sports events and travel &beer.

Yeah I agree, pick up a few and make a decision based on that.

it's OK, but has def gotten better as the months go by. not as much "commercial" beer related items as there are events, and general fun beer related items. their ratings/reviews are a bit to generous IMHO (they tend to love every beer reviewed)

I thought it was decent, but didn't love the style. It was more of a "lifestyle" magazine with a beery focus, like GQ for brew. My wife bought me an issue of Draft and an issue of Imbibe for Xmas last year and told me to pick one and she'd sign me up for a subscription.

I went with Imbibe, which is more beverage-general with articles on spirits, wine, beer and coffee. I really think it's a very nicely done mag, from layout, paper stock and photography through content. The latest issue has an article on Hefeweisens. The editor has a good letter that talks about her being more of a spirits person, but is starting to understand the depth of beer. Hopefully that means more beer content in the future.
