Checkout "My Brew Collection" at http://www.mybrewcollection.com for a recipe database/label maker/tutorial thingie. I bought mine at a local shop, Austin Homebrew for $25. It includes both Mac and PC versions and is quite neat. AHS also had packages of bottle labels in different colors but I don't know if they are from the same company.

Here's the link to the labels: http://www.austinhomebrew.com/product_list.asp?cat_id=161&SCID=821321584ZZ221502ZZY

Unfortunately, there's no description for the software you've named from Austin Homebrew. As a matter of fact, the link you provided is dead. If there's a description somewhere, I'd like to see it. Please advise.

I have yet to even download this program. It is shareware, however, so it's cheap.....and free to try. I didn't see anything about a cost, even if you decide to keep...so looks like freeware to me. Might be worth a try.

I don't know...Masking tape works wonders, stays stuck on just fine, tells me what my beer is, peels right off with no residue when I empty the bottle...

Just about every simple desk top publishing program will let you make fine labels. I use Print Master which I bought for $3.95 as one of those "free" offers from my credit card. you can either print to Avery labels or to plain paper. I like the latter and then stick them on with milk and flour glue. It holds well and lets go perfectly when I wash the bottles.
