I noticed a new beer (to my area, at least) in the store today, and was wondering if anybody had tried it.

I think the name was Windmill, Holland Ale.

Anybody drink this before? Is it worth it, or just another macro disguised as a craft beer?

I don't know where you are, but I have recently heard that "Brouwerij 't IJ" from Amsterdam is starting to show up in the states. 't Ij (I can't pronounce it, but my Dutch wife laughs when I try to) is the Dutch name of the brewery, but the brewery is actually in an old windmill in A-dam, so I could see them using a pronounceable English name like Windmill for us Dutch-challenged folks.

I went to the brewery this summer and liked all 4 of their offerings, although I can't even begin to remember their names.

This is all speculation of course, but if it is 't ij, then I am looking forward to getting my hands on it.

Was it Holland Brewery with the Red Windmill?

hmmm, I'll have to check tomorrow when I'm at the store. I have a poor short term memory (which is not attrubuted to beer drinking! I was just dropped a few times on my head as a child :P)

I know of which beer you speak. My two cents is don't waste your time. At my local store it was incredibly inexpensive which usually isn't a good sign, but sometimes the local gets in an import that nobody likes and cuts the price to get rid of it. I've picked up some good beers cheaply that way. So I got some and it was thin, light watery, in other words, a drain pour. On the bright side I only spent about $3.30 for a six.
