I just recently discovered Full Sail at a local pizza place here in Louisiana. Man, I love this beer! Anybody out there had this before?

Which beer of theirs did you have? I'm guessing Amber, Pale Ale or session lager. They are a great brewery and it is nice to know they are distributing that far. They are company owned and quite cool, so drink to them, glad to hear your enjoying the Northwest from so far away.

Hi drewski,
Yes I've had the Amber, Pale Ale and I recently found a limited edition....(I think that's what it's called), it has an orange label. But this is a great beer, I really enjoy it and get it every time I visit the local good beer store.

The IPA and the Pale stay in regular rotation at my house. I've had the Amber, but I'm not a huge fan of ambers. When I'm doing heavy duty yardwork, nothing refreshes like those little stubbies of Session Lager!

They had a limited edition (olive greenish labl) lager out, which was good and I don't usually enjoy most lagers, and now they have a second one (orange label) that I'll have to try. I imagine this is what you are drinking. Thanks for the heads up I'll try and get my grubby hands on it

Absolutley, the session lager is in my opinion the perfect workin' in the backyard, slaving over a hot grill beer.

BTW, has anyone else noticed its similarity in appearance to Duff?

IMHO of course. We in the Northwest have two of the finest breweries around in Full Sail and Deschutes. Each have a stable platform of their usual fare and also celebrate the seasons with a special brew.

But if you can get to Hood River or Bend Oregon you must stop in at their pubs. The selection of beers that will never see the inside of a bottle will blow your mind. These are some of the best beers you will ever have the pleasure of passing your palate. I am sorry for those who live too far away to enjoy.

When next I travel to either of these "Edens of the Brew" I will think of those less fortunate that I.

I'll find a way to get there one way or another for those tastes. Until then I'm stuck brewing their regulars.

Wild,

Like the looks of your brews, I haven't brewed with rye ever. That list is making me thirsty!
