I just brewed up a beer
called a canadian high test from "barons" all extract
30%corn 70% two row grains
I didn't use their flavour hops, I used my own fresh flowers

it has been in the primary for 3 days
it is bubbling and sparkling like a champane
and the gravity is dropping according to the hydrometer
I didn't read the intructions on the box too carefully because I had already brewed one of these kits.
so i don't know if it said to keep it at a lower temp
It is right now at about 20 degrees celcius

but there is no krausen
does this mean it is a lager yeast?

no problem. I don't always get a Krausen either.

What type of yeast did you pitch? It could be Lager yeast and that would be a bottom fermenting yeast. My guess is that is is from the corn in the extract (corn sugar). It tends to kill head retention etc. Just a guess.
