Last Christmas, I received a "commemorative 3 litre bottle" of Arrogant Bastard for a gift. Has anyone seen these monsters? Anyway, I've had the Bastard in the past, and love it, but this HUGE bottle has been sitting in my basement, untouched, now for over 10 months. I'm planning on uncorking this puppy Thanksgiving evening, and it's been properly stored since last year; do I have anything to worry about?

oh btw , you did note the side of the bottle where it says "keep refrigerated"...right? well the 22oz's say it, im not sure of the three liters. however a large bottle will tend to age better then a small. but im going to stick by my original post and say.... "no"

It just so happens that I will be in Ohio over Thanksgiving. Does that mean I am invited?

I shared one of those babies with a group of friends last January. It belonged to a buddy of mine. I wouldn't mind procuring a few of them myself. I do have family in SD. I wonder if I can have them search a couple out.

Fid: Come one, come all! I'm over in the Toledo area (just south of the Michigan border).

You should be fine. Your cool dark basement is a much better environment than a warmer, well-lit store shelf, no? It may have mellowed a bit (like vintage SNCA does) but it should be a tasty treat. Enjoy!!

Damn! Now I wish I'd be near Toledo. Unfortunately, I will be in Oberlin, and at the mercy of my host's willingness to chaufer me around. I have already secured an agreement that the Great Lakes Brewery is a must visit. I hope they have some Nosferatu left...

We get it in the DC area. I don't think we can get the huge bottles though.
