I'm about to make the leap into the All Grain world of homebrewing. I'm decided to try a California Common recipe (out of How to Brew). I'm curious if anyone has experience with this brew style and if there are any tips I should be aware of. Particularly involving the yeast/fermentation. I have the White Labs San Fransisco Lager yeast which seems to be specifically for this type of style. But I currently don't have any temperature controlled areas at my disposal aside from my basement, and I'm guessing I won't be able to get the temp. any lower than 60 degrees. Do I need to be worried about this producing too many "off" flavors?
