Well, I started my first batch on Friday.... It got warmer than I intended and it completed primary fermentation in about 48 hours.... I went ahead and racked it to the secondary. I took a gravity reading, and it was at 1.019 (although I don't know how much this info is worth being that I forgot to take an original gravity reading.

It is still fermenting (slowly, a bubble every 3 minutes or so). I planned on letting it sit in the secondary untill next friday (7th of November) and bottle.

If fermentation stops, it is still alright to leave it in the airlock to condition untill my inteded bottling day? I've read that it is, and that the yeast will become active again when I prime for bottling, but I just want to make 100% sure, as this is my first time brewing :-)

yeah, it's hard to get beer wrong once it's fermented...letting it sit too long on the trub will sour it a bit...but that's more in the 2-4 week range...i just double racked my honey wheat because i didn't want it sitting on the trub too long...well, not just...in reality i just bottled it

Really, really, really take our word for it - your beer will turn out fine. Say it twenty times in the mirror.

hehehehehe, thanks :-)

On a good note, when I transferred it the other day I drank what I came up with in the hydrometer test jar... tasted like a great beer that was just flat :-)

then it's all good from there...cuz once you bottle it and let it condition, it won't be flat :D
