socal's on fire!!!

every morning when i get in the car to go to work it's covered in ashes that have been falling from the sky, the sun is blood red in places and the air is so thick with smoke it burns my eyes and nose when im driving. if you get close to the hills at night you can see an orange glow over them. from the high desert across the valleys and in to L.A. the fires are everywhere. and down in san diego they're going through the same thing as we are.......i sure hope the stone brewery dosen't go up in flames! that would really suck, i hear the alpine brewery may be in danger. . ....
damn arsonists if stone burns down im going to be pissed!!!

the smoke has just about all gone, the wet weather has helped a lot and the fires are all just about contained thnx to the effoerts of all the fire fighters . the death toll was about 20 and hopefully will stay there, something like 3600 homes were lost, hopefuly that will stay put as well, mostly they're just looking for hot spots in case the santa ana winds decide to kick up again. i think it's real close to finally being over.

thnx ray m , it's raining now and has been all morning, i think we've got this thing licked! now there talking about depleting the forests to keep this from happening again....humm go figure....politics i guess :confused:
