well i am sitting here tonight just about drunk because i have been trying to dispense a beer without 3/4th head in it. I got the keg last night and it has been in my chest conversion since then. my external thermo is set to 32. I have set the pressure for 5-12lbs bleeding out the lines between test....i am using http://www.beveragefactory.com/images/stk2.jpg .... I am pouring correctly so says micromatic video. what can i do..... One thing that i did think of and have tried but it is tooo early to see results is that the copper tube on the thermo was tapped to the side of the fridge. so maybe it is reading the temp of the coils in the side of the freezer. Long story short i put the coil on top of the keg. MMMM the beer is so good but i want it to work right ha ha sorry for drunkin ramble but can someone help.

when you say 5-12 lbs do you mean that you tried all them? I have my kegerator set at 11 lbs with 5 ft of 3/16 beer line on it. it gives me the pour that I like. are you sure that you are opening the faucet all the way? are you sure there is not a kink in the hose? check to see if there are bubbles forming in the line. I am guessing that since you were apparently drunk and posted under the influence :D the beer did not have time to get warm inside the tower. I am betting that there is a kink in the line or you are not opening the faucet all the way. let us know how it turns out and pics are allways welcome.

also, changing the pressure does not change the carbonation level. put it on 11 or 12 psi, set the temp at ~38 and let it sit for a few days (you can sit pull a pint or 4, but don't get worked up about any foam for a few days).
