Last night I racked into a cornie keg, and noticed that during the racking process there were small air bubbles being pulled into the
joint where the auto sypon ends and the transfer tubbing begins.
I know this will start to oxidize the beer, but hopefully it will be long gone by the time oxidation makes it undrinkable, it will be rough, but I'll manage. ;-)
So I was wondering what type of clamps people use for stopping this? Idealy it would be a clamp that can be diconnected very easily without the aid of tools.

I see this same ting happen almost every time I syphon. I can't tell you why it happens. I think some of it is actually cO2 from the little bit of yeast action still going on. I can tell you that I haven't noticed any ill effects or off flavors in the beer when it has happened.

I wrap a plastic covered wire twist tie around it twice then twist it snug. Works great! This problem annoyed me greatly and I always forgot about it afterwards. I only solved it one day while siphoning. There was a loaf of bread on the counter next to my carboy and the lightbulb lit up in my head. It is a nice temporary solution. I could have used a zip tie, a hose clamp, or an oeticker clamp , but those are less than convenient.

Worry not, croc...It happens to me every time and I really never gave it a 2nd thought....haven't noticed anything bad occur to the flavor because of it, either.

I put a worm clamp on my auto-siphon where the hose connects. The tightened it ever so slowly until the bubbles stopped. I do not get any bubbles now. This will require a screwdriver though.

I thought of this, but I wanted something that could be removed and added without the use of any tools.
