There is the Craft Brewers Conference every year put on by the AOB/IBS (association of brewers/institue for brewing studies) and you can find information at www.beertown.org. It is usually held in Mid April and moves every year. This years was in New Orleans and the next one will be in San Diego.
CBC 2004 (http://www.beertown.org/events/cbc/conference/index.html)
If you are interested in attending I would check with the AOB on what the going rates are. It is more then a trade show as it also has several days of lectures and round tables for industry professionals (brewery/restaurant).
Thank You so much for the info, Yes I think I would happy to know the rates.

I second what Brewmonkey said. It's by far the best, really the only, Industry trade show around anymore.
Brewmonkey-
Are you going to it this year?

I am thinking about it, San Diego is a great location for it too.

Yeah, I'm debating, too. I haven't been to San Diego in years. Plus, its always good to see old friends you don't get to see often.

I lived in SoCal for 7 years and well I would not want to move back I do like the area. Not to mention a quick jaunt to the old haunts in Tijuana.....
I was stationed in SoCal with the Army and TJ was a trip made at least 6 times a year.
Would like to hit Pizza Port and see Tomme and Jeff and finally get to try some of the other stuff they have as well.

I've had Tomme's beer time and again at the GABF and they're always amazing. The more I think about the more I think I'll go down there for it. There are a bunch of breweries I haven't been to down there, so it would be nice to check it out. Maybe even see a Padres game in the new park.

San Diego has some interesting brewpubs and everyone here seems to be a fan of Stone BC. I was out last summer for the first time in about a decade. If you attend the show in April maybe you can pick up some Stone 04/04/04. :D

Pretty much where I have had all his beers as well, and I know Jeff from his days at White Labs. Which is one more reason to get back to SoCal.
