Brew #1

Name: Baltika Extra
Brewery: Baltika Brewery, Saint Petersburg, Russia
AC: 8%
Notes: Clear and golden, very mild nose, slushy mouth feel, taste is hoppy but not overly so. All in all a fairly good, smooth brew.

Brew #2

Name: Fischer Amber Ale
Brewery: Brasserie Fischer, Schiltigheim, France
AC: 6%
Notes: At least I got a swing top out of the deal! How do you mix hops and malt to smell like tuna? Amber!?!? Only in the dark! The French should stick to wine and sparkling wine and let the real men brew!!!

That's not the 1st time I've heard (read) about piss-poor French beers. I, too, cannot imagine the French being good at anything except for 2 things:

1) Wine Making, &

2) Scroggin' (and even this could be considered questionable).....:p
