Brooklyn Summer Ale
4.5%

They call it a English Style Light Dinner Ale, something I've never heard of. The bottle I had on the warm day prior to the last home DC United game, was very delicious. Brewed under contract in Utica, NY (therefore FX Matt). A reasonable abv% for the hot months. Oddly for a summer beer it has a very nice malt profile. The description says "two row British malts" but is no more specific. I'd swear there was Marris Otter in there but it's specifically stated (but is on their Winter Beer). For those who like a bit of malt and want something lighter for the warmer solstice this is your boy. Reminds of being the in the ballpark of such other malt favorites of mine as the late lamented Magic Hat Humble Patience, though this is significantly lighter. Almost a hint of lemon which I guess is from the Amarillo hops.
