I'm wrapping up a wheat wine right now that calls for 1 lb of honey at knockout. SWMBO was leaving work early today and was going to stop and pick it up. She's stuck at the office and I'm at the end of my boil.
Whats the best way to add this to the primary?
I'm thinking about boiling a pint of water, taking it off the heat, adding the honey, cooling to 70 after it dissolves and pitching it in the fermenter.
