Howdy y'all, I am new here and just wanted to say hi. I have been brewing for a little while now, but I am still pretty new to it. I have a Amber Oktoberfest/Marzen Lager going right now. Holy crap does it take for ever to do lagers. I am debating on my next batch, between a nutty brown ale, or an IPA. Anyways I hope I can learn a lot from y'all.

Welcome to the board Glenn. I'm a relative noob myself. This is a great board from which to get advice and learn.

I'll leave any A&M jokes to others, since I married one. :D

yeah I am use to the jokes and taunting pretty much wherever I go. I usually tell people to STFU unless they are an alumni or a current student :p

Welcome to a great community of beer lovers. I don't know any A&M jokes.

I just got a Texas Lone Star beer jersey to wear while playing hockey.

Seymore, where do you get your supplies from? I have been ordering from Austin Homebrew Supply.

Welcome to the site. You need to get some supplies in before the official start of hurricane season. I wouldn't want to ride out a hurricane without a lot of homebrew on hand.

Yeah that is one thing I always have on hand is a lot of beer, ice (which becomes water if need be), and ramen noodles :D

How do Ramen noodles taste cooked in beer?

not sure I would usually use the melted ice for that, but I might have to give it a try sometime :p
