I'd start here MS Distributors (http://www.msbeer.com/members.php) and find out who's serving your area. I'm sure you could call and find out what they carry in a sixtel and where you could buy it.

Could you fit a regular keg of Lazy Magnolia in there? It may be hard to get much of a selection in Miss if it's anything like your neighbors to the east.

That's right. A sixtel is 1/6 of a barrel, which is 31 gallons I believe.

Nothing at all that I know of except at a somewhat local brewpub but then I'm a thousand miles from Miss.

Count yourself damn lucky. Why would you even consider the macros when you have those choices? I only get back to the Gulf Coast every other year, but we schedule our trip so we hit Abita country at lunchtime. I've never had Lazy Magnolia, and I've heard great things about it so this summer when I go thru Miss I'll make an efort to find some.

lazy mag is good i love the amber jack and the southern pecan. you should come through hattiesburg its off i 59 there is a bar called the keg and barrel.... has 40 + brands on tap... and i was planning on having miller lite on tap as a back up for guest and when i want to get cheap drunk.

Delayed reply here, but yes it is legal to ship beer... but a full 1/6 keg would cost a fortune to ship.

I should note that it's legal WITHIN the country... obviously you can't ship it internationally, so you couldn't bring in a keg of Guiness :p

It is not legal to ship beer thru the postal service, but UPS and FedEx ship beer with some pretty tight restrictions(if they know you're shipping beer that is). Whenever I buy wine online FedEx delivers it but somebody sober and at least 21 years old has to show ID and sign for it.

I am not sure about the laws in Miss but here in Ohio local beer stores can order up to a sixtel for you, but not a full keg. I talked to my local store with the best beer selection and they got me a list of beers from all their distributors that they can order in for me in a sixtel. I have a Flying Dog Tire Biter on order as we speak. If it is allowed in Miss I would got a good relationship with you local store and enjoy.

Good Luck
