Weldless fitting on HLT

I'm going to convert a keg for my HLT. I'm thinking a weldless fitting would the way to go here, since its just water. It seems like a sanitary weld is overkill and that's the only thing I can't do myself. Any reason to go the welded route on an HLT?

me 5. I even cut the tops of the kegs off myself. It's ugly, but guess what? Things go in and out of the tops of the vessels beautifully! ;-)
