Hi all,
OK - so I have a few little improvements under way on my brewery for this season, but one thing that is still unaddressed is insulation for my converted keg system.
At the very least, I'd really like to get the mash tun insulated. More important - I'd like to do that without spending all kinds of money, and without creating a fire hazard (I rarely need to, but I *have* had to put the MT on the burner).
I've seen pictures of a few solutions, but no accompanying commentary on how that solution is working out, so I figured I'd just go ahead and ask :-)
So... what are you doing for insulation? How is it working out? Have you seen a big difference in how long you can keep your mash temps from falling?
