Hey everyone,

I am sitting here trying to work it through my brain and want a few inputs from the peanut gallery.

I am trying to figure out how to make a multi-bottle CPF. I am thinking a 6 pack filler. One line in with CO2 and a bleeder valve. I was thinking of a way to ensure a constant run on all six fillers, by using regular spring loaded fillers tubes.

Am I crazy guys or can this be done?

Thanks for any help,

John

I am all for keeping it simple, but just like moving from 5 gallon batches to 15 gallon batches, I want to be able to bottle beer without being there for hours.

I worked for a day at a small micro and they had a pneumatic homemade 4 head bottle filler (unfortunately they didn't bottle that day) and I think that it is possible to do this on a manual basis at home I just need some direction.

Honestly, I think a Blichmann beer gun (http://www.northernbrewer.com/draft-bottling.html) will be easier to deal with than a multi-headed CPBF. I've heard great things about them in comparison to a regular old CPBF (speed and ease of use).

Maybe someone who actually used both would comment?

I think it would probably be quicker to use a beer gun than to have to make sure the multiple bottles were aligned each time.

Quicker clean up and sanitation, too.
