Pigs ass

I finally brewed my first beer. A kit ~Steadfast Scottish Ale..So far so good. I really like Pigs ass porter. Anyone have a recipe that would get me started there.

If you tell me what kind of hops are in it, I could come up with a recipe....

But then again If you were to send me a bottle I'm sure I could duplicate it.

Pig Ass Porter is an excllent brew. I can't tell you how to brew a clone, but I bet Harvest Moon would give you a few hints if you asked.

Thanks for the reply's, I kinda know one of the owners and I will ask him what he can tell me about the ingredients. Never really thought to do that. I look forward to alot of brewing and postings.
I'd send a beer BUT i'd drink em all before I got to the mail. If ever you see it and if you like Porters you will love it.

I LOVE porters... I have an entire thread dedicated to tasting and reviewing them (if I'd ever get off my butt and get started on it again!). Really wish they could get distributed down here!... *sigh*

I wish Harvest Moon bottled their beer but then again I love sitting on a stool sipping one (Pigs Ass). I wish I could send one to you and Otis ~ but I can't. Probably the best around.
One thing I noticed about Porters is the (kitchen sink) its pretty wide open to brew one. I'll get with one of the owners as well for some hints etc.
