I've been selling off some of my wifes junk and some pieces of misc. breweriana on Ebay lately. A bunch of cheap junk really but I decided to start putting my beer / brewery t-shirts on there as well. most are from breweries or brew pubs that I have visited over the years and a lot are from brew pubs that are long gone. So far I have put 28 on Ebay. I have between 150 - 200 or so. I'll list more after my U.K. vacation in March. But I thought I'd post my selling link so anyone who is interested can see some of the breweries that I've visited. I've not seen some of them myself for many years as I rarely wear T shirts anymore. It is kind of fun remembering some of my beer trips from years ago. Maybe one day I'll sell the brewery hat collection too.

If you would have been selling earlier in the month I would have bought some of your t-shirts..... But there is too much month at the end of the money this month...
Maybe next time.

I'll be selling for a long time. I've got many more and in other sizes too. I've only begun to list them. I don't want to list more until I return from vacation as I'll need some time to ship before I go. Only reason I really put the link here is to show some of the places I have been. As a seller, I can see that a lot of them are being "watched" already. In a way it is sad to see them go. But They are all filling up drawers and boxes. I've got sooo much stuff at my house. I've only begun to clean out. The real breweriana collection will be the last stuff to go in a few years. I've got tons of antique junk that will take me years to dispurse. old tins, diecast vehicles, art glass, tobaccoiana, and the like. My basement storage room, my attic, my garage, and a storage locker are filled with stuff I have collected or picked up. The only really constant things I have collected over the years is the breweriana and music (Records and CDs). I've got to start paring down somewhere. "2007 is take back my house year." :D Thanks for looking though.

Chaz, you'll probably come back from vacation with adozen new shirts!!
Let me know when you start selling your brewerania, I'm in the market for bar decorations for the garage/barroom I'm going to start building this year.

I've got some Arrow Beer / Globe Brewery stuff on there right now. And a nice Genesee tray. I may start selling some labels and beer mats soon. I've already sold some bar towels.
And from vacation I'm only bringing back a slightly larger beer belly probably. No more shirts. I think I might have a shirt from Felinfoel in Wales and I know I've got one from the long closed Morrells brewery of Oxford. I'm not sure too many brewers even sell shirts in the UK like they do here. In less than 2 weeks I'll be enjoying real ale in England, Scotland and Wales. :)

Don't rub it in. Our vacation this year will be to Alabama, where no beer over 6% ABV or bigger than a pint can be sold. My wife wants to go back to Belgium by ourselves, but then she's invited some of her family to spend a couple of weeks on the beach for my father's 75 birthday and my 50th.

One of my buddies wants to go to Brugge this August. He has asked If I want to join him. I'll probably do so. Been a while since I was last in Belgium. I'm at the beach right now but it's cold. Came down for a board meeting today. Can't wait till it starts warming up. Both my wife and I turn 50 this year. Not sure how we'll celebrate yet.
Sorry about the Alabama part.

The guys from freethehops are confident they'll be drinking good beer by June. I hope they're right but knowing Alabama politics it's not gonna happen.

Down by Mobile I presume? My sister and her husband lived around there when they first married.

The funny thing about the Southern states is even though people from states with more lenient beer laws and who have a taste for the stronger brews are moving down south of the Mason-Dixon line, mega-megachurches are cropping up all over the place.
We're going down to Green Turtle Bay near Grand Rivers, Kentucky this July, and that county is completely bone dry- the nearest place to get alcohol is in Paducah, 20 miles away.

Pfft. I grew up in Mississippi, and spent a ton of my growin' up time in Alabama. Never met a banjo picker in the bunch. 'Course, never could find a good beer, either...;)

Actually, I come from alabama with my banjo on my knee. In high school my best friend and his brother were both banjo pickers and I started pickin but gave it up after 3 years when it was painfully obvious to everyone around me that I truly sucked at it. But my wife can pick it up and play it. She has an amzing ability to pick up any string instrument and play by ear. She pisses me off that she won't make the effort to really learn, but at home we have a whole hillbilly jug band set of instruments. Banjo, dulcimer, guitars,my grandfather's great grandfather's fiddle. She has picked them all up and played them.

Thats one of the most horrifying things i've ever heard. My mother is from Kentucky, and i knew dry counties existed, but i guess i just never figured they'd be so big. Everywhere i've ever been in the state was pretty much soaked in bourbon.

Some of my auctions ended last night and more will tonight. Looks like I sold or will sell about 18 of the shirts this round. Still well over a hundred more to go. I'm not putting anything else on Ebay until the 11th of March. I'll schedule them to begin that day and end on the 18th. I'll be travelling some of the time between now and then and don't want to worry about auctions ending and shipping before the 18th. I'm pleased that I've sold so many out of the first lots. The bonus is that now I have a photo catalog of my shirt collection as well.

The photo catalogue might even last longer than the T shirts would have. And they take up a lot less space.

You got it! I'm really making a concerted effort to weed out stuff I have collected. So far so good.

I've put on more shirts. I've sold about 50 so far. I still have at least 100 more I think. One good thing is I'm photographing all of them to sell so I'll know what I had and will at least have a picture. A round about way to catalog I guess. Also it brings back memories of each place I got the shirts. Most have been packed away in drawers for 7 - 8 years. Several of the shirts I'll be selling date back to the 80s. Lots are from brewpubs or breweries that are long gone.

I can't believe you have a Rotterdam Brewing shirt. I might have to bid on that one.
